Sipi Falls

Mount Elgon, Eastern Uganda

Sipi Falls

A series of three stunning waterfalls cascading down the foothills of Mount Elgon amid lush coffee country.

Sipi Falls

Sipi Falls is a breathtaking trio of waterfalls tumbling down the north-western slopes of Mount Elgon. Set among emerald hills and smallholder coffee farms, it is one of eastern Uganda’s most scenic and refreshing escapes.

Hiking the Falls

A guided loop links all three cascades, with viewpoints framing the dramatic drop of the largest fall against the Karamoja plains far below. Shorter, gentler walks reach the lower viewpoints for those preferring an easier pace.

Coffee & Adventure

The fertile slopes are famous for Arabica coffee — a farm-to-cup tour is a local highlight — while thrill-seekers can abseil down the 100-metre main waterfall.
