Day-by-Day Itinerary
- Day 1
Kampala to Rushaga
Travel southwest through Uganda's terraced hill country to the Rushaga sector of Bwindi. Arrive at your lodge in the evening and settle in for the days ahead. (A flight upgrade to the nearest airstrip is available on request.)
- Day 2
Gorilla Habituation Experience
After an early briefing, join trackers and researchers to spend up to four hours with a gorilla family still becoming accustomed to human presence — a deeper, more intimate encounter than a standard one-hour trek.
- Day 3
Nature Walk & Community
Enjoy a relaxed day with a guided forest nature walk and a visit to a local community project, supporting conservation around the park.
- Day 4
Return to Kampala
After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Kampala, arriving in the evening.
